 General Notes:
He removed with his father to Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, then to Ohio where as a young man he mustered under Elisha Whittlesey, who was then a captain, in the War of 1812. He removed then to Fayette County, Pennsylvania, where he spent his life.
Caleb married Jermima Indlsey, daughter of Solomon Indlsey and Brittania Dean. (Jermima Indlsey was born on 31 Jul 1796.)
